With my old i7 870 and 16 GB DDR3 RAM (a bit slower than newer i5 with faster RAM) I have not found settings to do an acceptable job recording 1080p @ 30 fps with OBS (in Linux).

We can use just display capture in OBS.. so that's not good becouse it don't work perfect with the games(it also low your fps..not as good as game capture from before). Preview claims a nice 60fps but visually its sub 30 (and that is what the stream itself looks like). During testing I did note that changing the OBS Advanced Process Priority to IDLE or Below Normal would fix the problem for a short period of time and toggling once again once the stutter shows, would correct it again.

As soon as I open streamlabs OBS (Not streaming, just opening the app) My Fps tanks to 60 in fullscreen. I do realize... In some cases using 3rd party in-game overlays could cause additional FPS drop or instabilities, especially when you have multiple concurrent overlays running. If you ever encounter any issues, try disabling them and see if that would increase your performance or stability.
